This year, East Jakarta City Park and Forestry Sub-agency will build 2 Maju Bersama Parks (TMBs) in Utan Kayu Utan Utara and Cililitan Urban Villages.

East Jakarta City Park and Forestry Sub-agency Head, Christian Tamora Hutagalung conveyed, TMB in Utan Kayu Utan Urban Village will be built on Jl. Utan Kayu Ray, Pengayoman Residential Housing, covering an area of 800 square meters. While in Cililitan Urban Village, TMB will be build next to Kampung Rambutan Bus Terminal, on Jl. Supriyadi that covering an area of 1,100 square meters.

"Allocated budget to build TMBs reaches Rp 3 billion from City Budget (APBD) 2021. Currently, we are preparing the auction process. Hopefully there will be no obstacles in auction process and construction can be started soon," he said, Monday (2/1).
Those TMBs construction works will apply pocket park concept where the park will be equipped with various facilities, such as children playground, shelter, jogging track, and skateboard sport arena.
"Especially for TMB in Utan Kayu Utara, we will install pile of used containers and use it as children playground," he mentioned.
Meanwhile in Rambutan Urban Village, his side will apply literacy concept since its location is near schools. It will be equipped with children literacy and education rooms, as well as mini library with lots of books to read.
"Both TMBs will be built as a part of Regional Strategic Activity (KSD) program," he stated.
